The battery is expected to come from Chery’s Rhino S solid-state battery, with an energy density reaching 600 Wh/kg. Currently, polymer, oxide, and sulfide are the three main stream alternative electrolytes for solid-state battery development. Chery is betting on the oxide route.

Very impressive numbers if true. I’m happy with half or even a third of that range, but I guess there are people willing to pay for that.
The numbers are probably massaged as usual but the important thing is they keep pushing capabilities to make all the defences of ICE engines less attractive.
