minus-squareKashif Shah@lemmy.sdf.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up1·edit-22 months agodepends on what the spam contains; if it contains a reference to the content of the text message that the OP received a kindly worded paragraph describing how much we appreciate their political activism a kindly worded paragraph explaining the dark patterns of politics (e.g., using psychological manipulation) a kindly worded paragraph requesting that the donor write to their PAC and ask them to stop using their money for dark patterns an offer for them to become an independent, White MAGA instead of Blue MAGA or Red MAGA thank them again for their political activism then probably not criminal
It all ends up with the DCCC or gets directed by the DCCC.
