If they weren’t shameless hypocrites, yeah. You really think they’ll have any issue saying Clinton is a pedo for associating with Epstein, while in the same breath saying Trump did nothing wrong for that exact same thing?
The minority voices here are more important than you think. The hardcore MAGA base is not that big, and they need more mainstream conservatives to go along with it–the ones who say “I hate Trump, but Hillary/Biden/Kamala would be worse”. You start cleaving away pieces of MAGA, and it will fall apart as a political movement.
I don’t know. With everything that was known about Trump from his entire history, first term, j6, and campaign ‘promises’, you’d think he wouldn’t have been electable, much less actually win. But here we are, with a complicit congress and enabling supreme court (maybe that’s the other way around), and the wholesale destruction of safety nets, regulatory bodies and systems.
to them, trump can do no wrong, so anything he does gets excused. they’ll happily tear down others for doing the same things that trump did. trump humpers don’t operate on logic
