I voted again and again only for the party to do absolutely nothing it promised. Then a few years later some rich fuck in my city wanted to claim a piece of public land and we got together with some comrades and bullied them into submission. It was far more effective than any voting I ever did.

What do you figure would happen if the people of the US got together at election time and overwhelmingly voted for somebody that wants to dismantle corporate power and uplift the working class? You figure the capitalists would act like Swiper in Dora the Explorer and go “oh, man!” and then back off? Or they’d just say no with the electoral college and/or supreme court and use the police and military if that failed?
