          Uh, total or what?

          I looked it up and some apartments in developing areas are around $30k but apparently there are a bunch of restrictions on foreigners buying property in China. And they don’t allow a foreigner to buy a unit to rent, only for dwelling. Damn you, (based) Dictatorship of the Proletariat!

    For reference, the number on the left is from 2017, when some of the millenials would still have been only 20. I would imagine that number is higher now.
