This has nothing to do with a lack of food.
I hate to seem callous because I very much empathize with these people, but the fact that we have been seeing basically this same headline for over a year makes it seem like all of the other previous headlines were the boy who cried wolf. So many articles saying that there will be famine and never one saying that there is already a famine. Get your shit together, media.
The headlines stopped when food was coming in. Around 50 children have already starved to death.
Okay, there is a famine in Gaza.
I’m with you. They should state it like it is and stop this “will be eventually” minimalizing that they’ve been doing for years now.
There is no change if they say either way really. Nothing is getting into Gaza anyway.
