they argued that the European Union (EU) should adjust its prices to better align with those in the United States.

Thanks Novartis and Sanofi for speaking up.

I’ll add you to the Project 2025 list so we can avoid you at all costs in the future.

    Fuck off.

How about the EU declares all their drugs generics and sets up a factory to produce them cheaply.

Not gonna happen - as most European states are having collective agreements for drug prices.

But both companies can respectfully go fuck themselves. Europe is happy to take back the subsidies especially Sanofi gets and use other suppliers.

Even better: we finally should get collective agreements for all of Europe, sadly Germany has fucked the pharma market over…

Yep. That fucked over the whole (not only the)European market as a lot of smaller countried based their negotiation tactics upon the German results - both within but also outside the EU.

This small corrupt move for the social democrats in one single state will cost Germans, Europeans and patients all around the world billions.

For some reason he is still immensely popular. I never got it. He fucked up the German Healthcare System in the first place, and was in the board of one of the shittiest for profit operators for years. (Which also famously tried to circumvent the minimum wage in Germany)

I don’t get it as well.

He is the one who actually is responsible for the fucking DRG fuckup. Literally his main work.

Unlike what he claimed in various talk shows he is not a real doctor. He did study medicine but did not start his junior residency (AIP) and never has worked as a doctor in his life - he was already a member of parliament when the requirement for people to do the AIP year was waived - one of the main reason being him…(That is unrelated to the general change in training, different rules). That doesn’t count for me.

And he did a full 180° on literally everything he promised and demanded once he was in office,in terms of financing, COVID, everything.

When two wolves band together to offert you a piece of advice on the path you should follow in the woods, you should immediately become suspicious that something is not quite right
