The claim that the CIA funded castro was only ever made by one guy who wrote for the ny times. None of his assertions have ever been backed up by declassified documents from the CIA some of which would have surely mentioned it if it were true.

From everything I have read about the subject nobody seems to know for sure if Fidel was really communist during the revolution. The version of history I believe is that Castro wasn’t a communists when he overthrew batista but Che just kept propagandizing while the americans proved that liberalism is just a mask worn by fascists.

It gives me hope to think that the fascists’ fear of communism will push liberals into our arms.
