I find it bizarre that you care what celebrity chefs think.

I like the opinions of people who are experts in their field. Being a celebrity isn’t the point here.

Gordon Ramsey is an expert at being a celebrity. The things he says reflect the effects he desires to produce as a celebrity chef. They are not trustworthy or meaningful, they are primarily about his own image. He is compromised. ESPECIALLY regarding veganism, which this isn’t really even about. His public statements regarding veganism have run the entire gamut.

He’s a celebrity chef, sure, but his palette is actually insane. Watch him do blind taste testing; he can discern the source of even the smallest additions.

He’s arguably one of the most knowledgeable people alive when it comes to culinary arts.

His ventures have taken him through virtually every culture, ingredient, and recipe.

So, why do I care what he thinks? It helps dispel the myth of vegan food being bland.

        How have you determined this?

Edit: did you perhaps mean “on TV”?

He’s an extremely talented chef. Have you eaten at one of his restaurants? It’s not my preferred cuisine but it’s clearly quality.

I find it bizarre that you discount an expert opinion because the expert is famous. Fame has its benefits— a renowned chef with reach could convince people to try new things.

Nope. Nor would I. From what little I’ve seen of him, I wouldn’t go anywhere near the guy nor any of his businesses.

I find it bizarre that you find that bizarre. I don’t watch TV. To me you seem like a weirdo TV slave, obeying the TV masters who dole out mediocre entertainment and call it “culture”. I suppose you vote as well.
