Real story vs. bullshit story:
Someone said that Biden didn’t actually say the first quote so the second story is the real one?
Do you trust “someone” over Reuters, Al Jazeera, Haaretz, and NBC?

I read the Reuters article and that random lemmy poster did just gain a lot of credibility.
Asked whether he thought Netanyahu was prolonging the war for his own political reasons, Biden said: “There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion.”
He implies that there are reasons people believe it but does not confirm that he believes it himself.
This is news? He’s been doing that the entire time.
News to everyone but diehard Biden supporters
Newsweek has become such a trash rag. The headline is just clickbait about blaming Netanyahu for the attack on October 7th, based on an interview that happened in April.
In an April interview with Time, Trump said that the October 7 attack “should have never happened,” but it did “on [Netanyahu’s] watch.” The presumptive Republican nominee also blamed the prime minister for not seeing it coming.
“They have the most sophisticated equipment,” Trump said. “They had—everything was there to stop that. And a lot of people knew about it, you know, thousands and thousands of people knew about it, but Israel didn’t know about it, and I think he’s being blamed for that very strongly, being blamed.”
Biden told Time that while he does not fault Netanyahu for the attack, he disagrees with the Israeli leader over “what happens after Gaza’s over.”
