Democrats fucking blow. Every bit of damage that fascists are doing, is happening BECAUSE of democrats’ unwillingness to fight for anything other than those parts of the fascist agenda that they endorse.

Based on the belligerence and untrustworthiness of the global hegemon (the US) and its client state (Israel), getting nukes is the only rational move for smaller countries like Iran. That is the environment that we have cultivated.

Given how outrageously aggressive Israel is in this region, another nuclear power would be an effective check and probably usher in a new era of peace in the region.

I really hope that Iran doesn’t fall for it again. There’s no reason to trust anything that the US agrees to. As a nation, we have zero allegiance to our word. We are an entirely malevolent, two faced actor. If they reach some kind of agreement at this summit, I hope that Iran is just doing it as a stalling mechanism so that they can make strategic moves like actually acquiring nukes.

I’m not saying that he’s doing it all himself, but he’s the one deciding to do it. This latest ‘stone age’ threat is all him. You’d think that a machine as large and powerful as our military would require more than one guy’s whim to move into action. BYW, I’m not absolving everyone else of responsibility. Everyone who decides to follow the orders is culpable.

I live in a country where this one guy, all by himself, is allowed to just decide to murder thousands and thousands of people just because he wants to, over and over again. And, there’s no consequences, no check, no pushback, nothing that the other 300 million of us can do about it. Why do we tolerate this? Why is this just accepted as normal, even by the majority of people who disagree with him? I just cannot get over what a shit country the US is. Our government, our politics, our media, our culture, the people who live here are just endlessly awful. Will some nation, please just fucking do something about us?

Just speaking for myself, this question is absolutely a litmus test. If you, as a candidate cannot bring yourself to unequivocally denounce genocide and the state of Israel on a moral question as simple as this, I cannot trust you on anything else at all. If you have a worldview that allows you to weasel around such simple right and wrong, you are either a sociopath or have no principles whatsoever. In either case, you don’t deserve my support.
