1·5 days agoThe bottom line is that the elites don’t “hate” their armed enforcers… they hire them as disposable.
Cops think they are heroes for being the armed thugs for the elites.
It’s like asking if a mob boss hates their hitmen or their other goons. No, they don’t, but they know they are disposable and loyal.
The elites don’t hate cops. They are the employers of the cops.

I’d agree. He likely got great comedic value from the people dying as a result of his decisions; and thinks those people being healthy is a tragedy.

That term seems to imply that Thompson had caused harm of some sort.
He is directly responsible for anyone with United as insurance dying due to denied care.
Whichever party pushes pro working class policy, that actually centers and improves the material conditions on the ground, will win in the long term.
No party will, however. It’s a matter of which one talks the best about it, and it’s the GOP right now.
But neither party wants the material conditions to improve. That would hurt their masters, our oligarchs.
