Saying things will get better sounds like toxic positivity to me. They can get better is great, but do face that it often takes work to do so. Saying things will get better just sounds like relying on hope to me. Hope without a plan is absolutely soul crushing for me and shreds my will to go on. I need a goal and at least a current next step towards it (and hopefully backups should that current step fail) is what I need to stay positive. And reminders, looking at past patterns showing that things can and have gotten better before.
