there is some nuance to it; chemists are godly as long as you keep buying phoenix downs, raise can fuck you if it doesn’t land because your caster doesn’t have high enough faith, also if your ramza is seriously overleveled with a crazy kit it can solo a lot of shit
they also revive for free lol. that kit is beastly when coupled with a high speed/mobility main job like a ninja just make sure to put martial arts on or whatever it’s called in your version as the support skill so the monk abilities are strong.

more powerful spells take longer to cast. so fire is quick while firaga takes longer.
consider using auto battle (healer behavior specifically, even on a black mage) for your magic users. it’s not great and will make suboptimal decisions but it is pretty accurate with the magic it casts. that strat also fucks with a fully upgraded math nerd. i’ve beaten the game with auto battle behavior lol.
i loved parts of the DLC and absolutely hated others, prince consort was just the lovely icing on it all. the shadowlands are a land of contrasts.
got to the end of Shadows of the Erdtree only to get completely removeded by the last boss. not gonna take the dozens of hours required to beat it with two summon sigils and a mimic tear so we done ggs. what a shitty end to a pretty mid and exhausting DLC.
Yasuke is huge and cool as fuck so they at least did him justice
haven’t played ghost of tsushima so idk but it’s the same asscreed slop with the same dogshit filler sidequests. i’m sure it’ll also have shitty scaling so that when i’m level 55 with a ton of crazy shit all the basic enemies will have massively inflated health pools/stats. can’t comment on the story since i’m barely 5 hours in but i’m not expecting anything that wild

still plugging away at the elden ring DLC but i’m valuing my time most of all. if i can’t get a boss in ~5 tries out comes the mimic tear and gold summon signs; my run is already at like 95 hours or something and i am f a t i g u e d.
Beat the firework boss in death stranding 2, probably some of the coolest lighting effects i’ve seen ever in that level. grinding out some highways in it otherwise, can’t believe it’s a Car Good game 
still waiting for paradox to unfuck civilian ship automation in the latest patch so I haven’t really touched stellaris in awhile.
also downloaded Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, not because I thought it would be a good game, but because Fuck Denuvo and v38 cracked it. Very pretty game but otherwise quite hollow with odd pacing.

did a lil of the DLC in elden ring but i’m kinda burnt/fatigued by it (was just summoning mimic tear towards the end of the basegame so i could finish) so i switched up to death stranding 2, very sad very beautiful game super boring too lol great palate cleanser from mashing everyone’s faces in in ER. waiting til new stellaris stuff gets in a more stable state before i dig into the new DLC and some new(er) mods. also just reinstalled palworld…
still not sold on HV cracks personally (it’s new stuff to me and i don’t understand it so it’s scary etc) but it’s really cool to see denuvo get fucked
yeah the jobs have individual stats for physical attack and magic attack and stuff like that, so i imagine squire and knight have less base attack than monk, the combo with ninja is mostly busted because of the speed and you can dual attack with punches (300+ damage each hit and counting)
