I’m so confused. Democrats aren’t trying to “make America great again” because many of them agree with you that we haven’t finished making America better to start with.

“Build back better” implies that there is a good foundation. Amerikkka is a slave empire, built on blood and oppression. The Dems are materially not working to make anything better.

Is this some form of enlightened centrist, both sides same bullshit? Or is there more to this?

This is communist critique of Democrats. They are right-wing, along with the republicans. Just a slightly different flavor.

Communists are anti-liberal.

Liberalism as a political philosophy is the underpinning of capitalism.

We can’t destroy capitalism without doing away with it’s political philosophy.

As an aside, from this perspective both American liberals and conservatives are liberals - they both spring from the philosophy of liberalism.

I understand that it’s confusing to hear criticism of the Democrats from the left - it’s relatively uncommon in the U$.
