If you’re in Canada those nastygrams are merely scare tactics, generally.

I have ridden a ski bike but for winter commuting I prefer to drive a Bombardier B-12.

1·22 days agoLoads of people wash, peel, and eat raw carrots, though. It’s not unhygienic at all.

5·22 days agoSecond. I’d really think thrice to pick up washed on the shore bananas, or just about anything edible. Basic hygiene to me.
What do you think of potatoes, then, which grow in a mixture of soil and manure? Or carrots?
First of all it hasn’t been economically viable to build a pc since Covid. Graphics card prices and now ram. In a few years it’ll be something else.
I wonder what the break-even cost is if you factor in the monthly subscription fee for online pay. How long do you need to use your PC and play online with it for the PC, even with elevated hardware prices, for it to be the more economical option.

I disagree that changing lanes “creates more traffic.” Even moving right for 30 seconds allows faster traffic behind you to move over. In fact, lots of country roads have passing lanes open up for 2 km stretches where cars are expected to move over only for that distance.
Where I am the on ramps aren’t so frequent that it’s implausible to move over once in a while when there’s an onramp.
I probably would have slowed down considerably on the straightaways, giving them more time to pass. It’s not just for the other driver’s sake, but for my own; it’s not safe to be tailgated like that
The speed limit is usually 65 on highways by me, and if the fella is doing 75, can he not stay in the middle lane?
Traffic flows more smoothly when drivers keep to the right when possible, even if you’re speeding a little bit.
“space on both sides”
Please keep to the right when you are able.
I mean… the official Reddit app was so bad that they had to charge for API access in order to get real market share.
M CPUs make me a believer in ARM and other non-x86 chips, but preferably RISC-V in the long term.
Keyboard is critical to me. I can work on a MacBook keyboard short term but something like a Glove80 or at least an Ergodox is critical for me in the long term.
Also OS X Unix is nix enough for me.
Also:
- People move near a racetrack.
- People complain about the racetrack.
- Racetrack gets shut down.
- People complain about all of the lunatics racing on public roads.

I’m pretty sure those are natural gas meters. Around here they’re usually tucked out of the way, against the house, often with a protective pole to prevent a car from crashing into it and causing an explosion.
