I think there’s only a few cars if any in production that use lidar, from my understanding they use an array of radar sensors. Adaptive cruise control is so nice on long drives and in traffic, but I’ve had them be a bit over sensitive to the car ahead of me braking hard when I’m creeping at 5 mph and suddenly stopping me.

I wonder how well lidar would pick up a big glass storefront, pretty sure radar would detect it fine.

Maybe I’m just lucky, I don’t get spam like that… Yet. I’ve had that setup for a few years now though.

I’ll check that out but I like to do things like [email protected] for each service and when I get spam to that same address I know who sold my email address. Not that I really do anything about it but send that address to spam but I like to know.

I made mine [email protected] but I also have it set up with proton Mail as a catchall email address so I can give out [email protected] and it all goes to the same inbox with the ability to filter and send some addresses strait to trash.

Openstreetmaps with comaps is what I use when I go backpacking, at times having more up to date and accurate information than physical maps. It also does a pretty great job with its time estimations, sometimes it feels the elevation (gain and loss) is off though
