The idea is they wouldn’t launch open warfare against all of nato at once but rather increase attacks with plausible deniability against single weaker member to test alliance resolve and see where the red line is. That way they would destroy NATO by calling into question article five. All the weapons are not so much for actual warfare but to signal to Russia what the consequences would be if they fuck around.

Israelis tourists usually aren’t either. Just because in your bubble only bad examples are shared doesn’t make it true. The same mechanisms radicalizes right wingers into hating immigrants because of the actions of a few.
Some other commentators have already confirmed that it’s about the bad actions of the Israeli government, not really about the individual tourists. The same type of argument is being made by the far right about Palestinians and Hamas. Both arguments won’t lead to peace just to further resentment.
