Start > Run > “DXDIAG”
Select the Network tab
Select Test DirectPlay
Use DirectPlay8 TCP/IP Service Provider and a preferred port
Create New Session
Then simply have your friend join the session, entering your IP or NETBIOS name. magic.
Neat trick!

3·20 days agoIt disables JavaScript JIT by default, IIRC. If you haven’t turned it back on, give it a go.
Yeah, I used to enjoy it too. No more. And these apps are often not very good and are accompanied with obnoxiously frequent releases, sometimes multiple per day.
I wish fdroid had a “vibe coded” antifeature that we could filter out.
I don’t know if this advice still applies these days but I have been told to avoid the brands that start with a “see” sound, like sealy or serta.
I have been happy with rubber mattresses. They have varying firmness sheets that comprise of the matress.
If you go in store be sure to lay on a potential mattress for an hour. Just plan to hang out on it.

18·27 days agoCyanogenmod and LineageOS have always felt like hacks upon hacks and always had something broken. While I have my gripes with GOS it’s truly the first time since I have had a custom ROM that just works through and through.

3·29 days agoJust replayed it again - I usually do it since a year. Just advise not using the Linux version and it crashes frequently and will never get fixed. Use it with wine/proton.

3·4 months agoHonestly, not even stable. Just arbitrarily frozen. Oftentimes with later releases having bugfixes that the user won’t see for another few years.
