I had to double check but this iteration (lel) of the comic is over 13 years old.

Kinda, yeah.
The analogy I like best is that dogs are like eternal kindergartners, they are equivalent in mental capacity to a small child and never develop beyond that point.
I think it is kind of pointless to have something (someone?) like that around if you are not there for them most of the time.
Some workplaces allow you to have your dog with you but that is very rare.
I have stopped using the youtube frontpage and blocked the algorithmic recommendations from appearing.

Why is hearing voices always depicted as driving someone into madness?
If people were a little more relaxed about, it they could stop themselves from spiraling out of control.
Take a step back, tame your inner voices and make them work for you.
The abyss is looking back? Good.
Take a deep look and learn about yourself, because when you look in the mirror, despite everything, it’s still you.

Not even a metaphor anymore, just stark raving mad reality.
But YOU! You shall expect no mercy from me!
You there, you have been tolerable, perhaps I shall spare thee.

Hideo Kojima is such a madman… but he channels it well, I have to respect him for that.

We call it a “banana product” in DE because it ripens after it has been delivered to customers.
