I know these 3 are guaranteed to be a part of my favorites:
The Thing
Alien
The Mist
Obsession should probably be on my list. I haven’t enjoyed a horror movie like that in a long time.
After that it’s such a toss up. I need to rewatch some of these:
The Ritual
Cabin in the Woods
Trick or Treat
Cloverfield
REC
28 Days Later
Oculus
The Descent
Evil Dead 2013
The only game I played the last month or so is the new Fire Emblem. I’ve gotten burnt out. Couldn’t find what to play instead, so I’m reading horror novels until I probably go back. I might get the new Star Wars, go back to Wrath of the Righteous, Diablo II remake, or Resident Evil 7
I played Minishoot’ Adventures - a cute metroidvania where you play a ship. It was a pretty fun 8 hour adventure.
I’m having a hard time finding something new to play. The new Fire Emblem is coming out this coming week and I might get that. Until then it’s probably going to be FFXIV - just got all jobs to level 50 - and Metroid Dread - Metroid Ravenous made the last direct my absolute favorite direct.
Oh, 100%. Knowing the twist or even a couple of scenes a head of time can spoil the fun. Even rewatching a horror film can have that same effect.
I find campy horror like Evil Dead, Shaun of the Dead, and Slither are the exception
