4 months agoAs long as I don’t have to clean up what’s left behind after they’re “parked” there.
Since I invariably wind up getting “name suits” types of comments, here’s the explanation behind it:
Around the turn of the millennium, I was trying to come up with a username to use on a particular site that had a shortish character count limit for usernames. My goal was something related to the fact that I would often be making my points in arguments with “holier-than-thou” types by taking what they were saying, and turning it on its head so the offensive stuff was directed back at them.
I also happened to learn shortly beforehand that many years ago “'ape” was somewhat commonly used as a verb to mean “imitate” or “copy.”
I’m sure you can figure the rest out.

2·4 months agoIt took all you had just to get dressed like that. Although I prefer this to someone who’s “not having it” in the sense of they’re having a hissy fit over something they didn’t like.

Even the good ones after all that’s happened in the past decade.

I say milk 'em for all they’re worth. They grift plenty enough, so I’ve got no problem turning the tables.

2·4 months agoBut those who pay attention know which is the truth, while yelling “lies” seems to work on the clueless - seems win-win to me.
And the only cost was the USA itself.
How about we just go back to “lies” so the simple-minded folks who always fall for that crap can have a chance of “getting it” for once?

I honestly didn’t know it was still around. Wonder how it compared against the sludge that is now Google’s crapified results. Guess I’ll never know.
Also not an artist, but that right forearm & hand just don’t look right - looks pasted on top & the proportions slightly off. Also the darker edges are too thick/wide.
These puns all sound the same OneNote.
Wonder if this will work on the innumerable obvious covers of popular songs by no-name bands which get listed as being from the original artists. Probably not, which is why I stopped using Spotify even before so many of their other shitty moves.
Mine goes down after I screw up, and prevents me from fixing it until later, when it’s already been back up for a while & who-knows-how-many people have seen my screw up before I realized I could now fix it
They have the power to do so, so why didn’t they make it at least somewhat retroactive? There’s no real reason anything released in the past five years couldn’t have been included, for example. I can see giving extra time to dust some things off & update the code, but I don’t think it’s an unreasonable request.
