Yup. Human children were meant to be raised by the village. Asking just two people to do it while they’re also being asked to do work that is incompatible with childcare for 40+ hours a week is objectively insane.
True but it’s not a simple cultural shift to go back to this. Unless you have acreage it’s not safe to let kids play outside unattended due to the ubiquity of high speed vehicles.
It pisses me the fuck off. But like many problems in life, the solution is to ban cars.

You are of course, completely correct but this is hardly unpopular on this platform.
Streets are more important anyway. But if you do need a digital space we’d love to have you!
But they do seem to be happier to see someone else beaten with the people’s stick, which is why the problem persists, and why every government insists on calling their stick the people’s stick.
If only US presidents could be measured this way. Instead sadly we have to count their dwindling horcruxes.
