It’s probably going to be a very close election even if Trump’s campaign continues to be bad. Other Hexbears have already pointed out the insanity of the Electoral College and how just 10,000s of votes in swing states could decide the election. But another thing is GOP fuckery about the dems “stealing the election”. For nonsense reasons the GOP could force the results of one (more than one?) red swing state’s vote to be decided at the supreme court. Spoiler alert: if that happens - Trump wins because the GOP justices will decide the election.

Because I opened an account at Bluesky - I occasionally get libs who reply to me with all the crazy lib arguments I haven’t experienced directly. A few hours ago somebody there replied to me with “But Trump would nuke Gaza” take. It’s scary how Trump Derangement Syndrome has destroyed so many lib brains and souls.

It’s kind of incredible to me that libs respond by saying “Don’t let the perfect be enemy of the good on election day,” even on a day when Israel has openly assassinated aid workers.
