  • The US has pretty decent/good air quality compared to a lot of countries both developed and under developed. At least we don’t have to deal with what India, China or Brazil have to deal with when it comes to air quality. I mean it’s not the greatest there’s still people who live with air purifiers because of pollutants, toxins and generalized pollen but you can leave your house in every single state at any given time without choking or needing PPE.

Food could be better. Food here could be a lot better but you know what it is. It’s the sickening supply and demand. Think about it we get year round produce because we ship it in. There’s an Asian market that’s near me and a (half dead) stop and shop 2 blocks from it. The Asian market has in-season only produce and has an on site butcher. A lot of other countries I hear do the same as the Asian market and I still have no idea if it’s true but we have hydroponically grown food in the off-season.

The only areas in the US that actually rely on local produce are areas that have produce that they’re known for. Like Georgia Peaches, Maine Blueberries and Massachusetts/New York Mcintosh Apples and then those areas are all tourist and rely on tourism. The FDA Doesn’t give a fuck about our meat as much as we’d like to think, I mean our chicken wings can still have feathers and there’s known low quality butchers. Our beef supply is being cut like there’s no one even inspecting the fat vs lean meat ratio and everything that’s lean has a lower shelf life because its more, “fresh,” (after it’s been treated) and the odds of a grass-fed cut of meat smelling like fish is higher than a non grass-fed cut of meat which are usually starting to gray and those are unless you go to a good quality butcher BUT THEN you face a sourcing issue which they’re all known to get their meat from Costco or BJ’s.

Pork is absolute trash in this country, I’ve been trying to stay away from pork.

  • I am on team why hasn’t no one been arrested yet in the US for the Epstein-Trump files. I am also on team fuck ICE. When I said they’re the party of law and order it’s more the stereotype or the front/portrayal but I know and you know that they’re not that and to be honest I regret saying that they are and as much as I want to edit my original comment I won’t.

I mean shit man there’s been more arrests over the files in other countries which is hardcore evidence with authorities 100 bajillion percent being able to read them unredacted (because they redacted them). We’re all waiting for the next president to do something about it. I’m hoping the next one won’t be some geriatric that will destroy the country.

I think that’s one of the biggest issues we’ve been dealing with and just passively accepting; Is the fact that we keep voting in out of touch 70 something to 80 something year olds but they’re not gonna be for the modern issues. At least Biden had handlers and people actually looking out fro modern issues.

You know what Trump is looking out for, himself. He’s selling merch to make sure he has a revenue after he’s done being president because for a fucking narcissist like him, he’s going to end up in some state of faux depression to which he’s going to be into a full self examination from the internal depths of his mind and he will never look or sound the same afterwards. Trust me him being impeached directly impacted him in the way he could see that no one likes him.

It’s wicked funny that Hitler was also only valued by his party for his voice and speech giving skills.

Fun Fact: Hitler’s mustache was actually to impress the person he looked up to the most. I learned a lot about Hitler when I was trying to make a comment about the comparisons between Trump and Hitler one time and ended up spending a week learning about Hitler. Honestly, a fascinating prick that invaded the Nazi party that no one really liked him in, in the first place. He was an absolute outsider and supposedly had to prove himself to be in it and he idolized someone within the Nazi party and tried to flatter that person by imitating his mustache.

The fact that both Hitler and Trump invaded political matters where they were not wanted in the first place is fascinating in detail

  • It’s chill it’s only the surrounding border of the yard which the already had in their yard so I don’t feel too bad plus there’s someone who keeps a tree of going. I keep it at bay by planting sunflowers and raspberries. They seem to be good shields for now. Hasn’t invaded my whole yard but I would be heartbroken if it did.

We tried everything, round up helped for two seasons but we used 6 containers of it tilled and did 6 more and then amended the soil with fresh soil and manure layered it and used 35% vinegar on the known spots. They STILL THRIVE.

I had to amend the soil anyways because after years of them being there the soil went partially hydrophobic and wasn’t taking in the water and was basically just dusty soil devoid of nutrients.

Root vegetables helped to mainly potatoes.

I learned from a cannabis forum that there’s a way to sign up for a special injector from your city (town or municipality) that you can inject the stalks with a herbicide that kills them from the inside out. Has the highest success rate but the wait list is huge.

There was discussions a while back and they said that you could possible modify a cattle injector for such purposes.

  • And you know what it wouldn’t be hard. Force users to be online and to log in to steam and if you don’t log in to steam which would hold your premium user pass which would enable the randomized access key to the premium/registered version of Steam OS that you’re able to have full control over vs the downloaded iso that has half the features and no way to unlock the premium features/using the OS, being able to access the VR Games, access anything up and coming and new releases without paying.

  • Also going off of the market trends of Google and Apple always making a new model with planned obsolescence with the old one and locking features due to the inability to update.

So one of the biggest gaming companies on the market right now (Steam) is making model one. When will model two be released and will you have to pay annually for it? Will there be planned obsolescence?

We don’t know? We’re ½ and ½ putting faith into an open source software with gaming hardware in a pc sold by Steam…

That’s a fuckin’ leap of faith.

  • I don’t I’m just going off of the last decade and a half of market trends shifting away from traditional ownership of a product you puchase to forced renting with an indefinite subscription service.

I guess I should’ve said I wouldn’t be surprised if they did a subscription service after it does well and then moves features and then people will have to pay for premium Steam OS or full registered version or full access with all options vs free to try open source OS that is restricted from users adding any new features via open source that would make the premium obsolete in order to maintain revenue.

    I 100% wouldn’t be surprised.
