A colleague had a Nokia 9110 back in 1998, that was very advanced back then

I still have my HTC touch dual and my HTC Magic in a drawer somewhere. Those were such exciting phones, coming from a Nokia.

Flashing Cyanogen Rom and custom recoveries felt so bleeding edge. Now a new phone is just an incremental update. A lot more stable and capable, bit kinda boring

As a European, it’s so odd coming to the US. I was going to the US to see some NFL games. Picked a hotel 1,5 miles from Giant Stadium, thinking we could just walk there. Nope! 20 minute car ride, or 90 minutes by foot

It’s really amazing how chill their cats are. I’m impressed how they managed to get Poki transformed from a trashcan diving maniac, to just being able to sit on a chair watching Jun cook

I was thoroughly impressed with the skill level of the participants. Although I haven’t been to a high level event since Covid, there were a lot of elements I’ve never seen done in women’s battles

Now I really look forward to the mens event too, to see if they have evolved just as much

I use the Google calendar, with different types of events in different colors sub-calendars

• One the things, that only I need to know (eg. Refill the automatic cat feeder, dentist appointment)
• one shared with the wife, so she can see, if I have plans to see friends or similar, and she has a similar I can see
• one shared for the daughters appointment
• one shared that contains my work schedule
• Public holidays (Maintained by Google, so always up to date)
• Birthdays and anniversaries All of them displayed on a widget
