How much concrete did they pour to build the infrastructure needed to host the games? I’d really like an analysis of that and the carbon footprint left behind by a few dozen AC units over a couple weeks.

I don’t think it’s illegal (at least in the US), but it’s a great way to have your best talent split for greener pastures while the mediocre and lesser talented employees hang around forever.
I work in the same industry as Dell and turned down a job there for a reseller who will let me work remotely in perpetuity.

Mobility is a thing that mostly exists for the wealthy, as far as I can tell. And with the policies that generally exist down south? Fuck em, they’ll sort it out themselves. I live a thousand feet above sea level, they can figure it out themselves.
So again, my empathy goes to the people who can’t move, not the people who won’t move.
