I mean, it would have been great for them to vet a request like this at all, but the best way to not release inappropriate information is to not have inappropriate information.

Sounds like you’re just an introvert to me, that’s pretty typical of introverts from what I’ve seen.
IIRC the reason military spending is so extreme is because the US military is required by law to have the paperwork to prove their entire supply chain is domestic, as part of a worst case readiness thing. Could be wrong though, not like I’ve really looked into it all that much.
All good, it’s a really common mistake.
Please, anyone who reads this, stop posting links to the mobile version of Wikipedia. It doesn’t switch automatically on PC, and I see it happen all the time. Just take the half a second to remove the “.m” from the beginning of the link, save everyone else from the pain of having to be surprised by it and taking the time to do it themselves.

That’s fair enough I guess, I suppose I was defining functional as protecting various rights that technically aren’t necessary for an extant society. On the other hand, I very extremely doubt any of the self proclaimed libertarian anarcho-capitalists believe the actual end results of such a system are what would happen, nor would they want such a system to be the one they live under.
Yeah, american libertarians call themselves the wrong thing. The more correct term I find would be anarcho-capitalist, which is just all around a completely non-viable economic and governance system.
Some absolutely do, some nominally don’t but don’t stop to think about the implications of what they say they want, and probably most think education is great. The term Christian refers to so many people that making any broad assertions is going to be wrong for large percentages of the group.
It’s a copy paste I try to have on hand because probably more than half the wikipedia links I see are mobile ones. The fact that you make the effort is very appreciated.

If the complaint is that the move was politically motivated in violation of the new code of conduct, that code of conduct only came into effect a few months after the shares were bought and sold. Even then, a reasonable argument could be made that he was instead motivated by the shift in share price. Don’t get me wrong, I think the dude is a piece of shit that should step down for the good of the country, but this is not where we should be wasting our energy caring about.
Yeah I was thinking the same, this isn’t insider trading. In fact I don’t think it’s even vaguely sketchy.
Reality is a fucking parody.
On one hand yes, knowingly endangering lives like that could be worth a heftier fine, on the other hand everything made plus ten percent seems like a pretty good fine to use if you want to actually discourage behavior across the board.
Every cent made is a fine I want to see more of. Anything less is going to be seen as just the cost of doing business and the behavior will continue.
Celeste is $2 right now and is really good.
