Obviously ‘against the grain’ is talking about lemmy general opinion. Yes it’s status quo to remove opposing news agencies during a war.
Just because something is common, doesn’t make it right. Israel is locking down anyone that dares speak out against them.
Saying “Isreal is locking down anyone that dares speak out against them” shows a complete lack of understanding over the issue. Of course you think it’s wrong if that’s what you think is happening.
