Republicans need trans people as an enemy, having already spent more than $60 million on anti-trans ads in 2026. Without us, they lose a scapegoat to distract from affordability, health care, and the war with Iran. They claim trans people aren’t real, yet blame us for America’s problems.
Democrats who accept that premise also accept the idea that trans people are a liability to be managed rather than members of the majority they need. Democrats should offer voters something to believe in. Defeating authoritarianism requires a coalition committed to caring for one another
And that is exactly why Democrats will never support us. It‘s profitable to be inhospitable. Mob rulers only care to get to empowered, not help the minorities.
The Democrat’s doesn’t deserve money especially while they prioritize so much big money corporate donors.
If Democrats want money so badly, they can get it by defunding ICE.

The Department of Homeland Security’s $64.4 billion bill passed Thursday by a vote of 220–207, with seven Democrats voting in its favor. They were Representatives Henry Cuellar (Texas), Tom Suozzi (New York), Vicente Gonzalez (Texas), Laura Gillen (New York), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Washington), Jared Golden (Maine), and Don Davis (North Carolina).
Absent these seven Dems voting with the GOP, this bill would have failed.
Voting to fund them is different than voting to defund them when it has a chance of passing. Who knows what shady back room deal their vote bought their constituents.
