Hey everyone. Hope you have had a good weekend and are enjoying your summer. This week I’ve been out of town but I spent a lot of time in airports so I dusted off my Gameboy emulator on my phone and saw i had a Pokémon emerald save that was still before the first gym leader. I now have 3 badges and full steam ahead on the 4th. Hope you all have a great week!
I am playing twighlight struggle the board game for the first time and its genuinely brilliant. Its like Risk but not shit, naturally i am playing NATO and i have europe, asia and africa on lock rn expanding in central america. It appears using actual american cold war foreign policy works

I’d say it’s pretty hard to hold on to South America or Africa as the US because the USSR will keep DEFCON at 2 with a coup into a battleground in one of those two continents as their first action just about every turn they can.

Lol yeah there are sure a lot of cardboard chits for the physical game. Back in the day the digital version had no DRM so my friendgroup bought one copy and then just passed around a USB stick. Good times.
