yeah, our job is to inform people, not to force them at all
is it why the history of before the missionaries and colonizers is so cloudy?
because the colonizers did their best to erase it? And seem to be successful in such?

Is that why Jesus claimed he was bringing a sword? Totally not to force or coerce anyone?
Because the word would seperate houses from houses, neighbor from neighbor and family from family.
Many would be persecuted by their own for the sake of the Word
