I noticed that cross-posting doesn’t move alt text to the new post, at least when cross-posting an “image” post.

Also, should tags be included in cross-posts? I’m not sure how Lemmy posts appear in Mastodon but wouldn’t it look like we are spamming tags by repeating the same post several times?

      Using ‘Cross-post’ feature in Piefed to make one post across multiple communities without having to manually copy everything over.

      I assume it also consolidates these posts for other users so they don’t see all the copies in their feed if they’re subscribe to several such communities - at least that’s how it works on Lemmy.
