It’s 6:59 a.m. PT on a chilly spring morning exactly three months before the day you’ve decided you want to go camping. You’ve chosen a campsite and your mouse is hovering over the reserve button on the B.C. Parks website, heart racing as the seconds tick down to 7 a.m., when the sites become bookable.

I live in the Kootenay’s and these are some really strange choices for campgrounds, so I’m not sure how to treat the rest of the data.
I don’t really camp much anymore, but I’ve always had great experiences camping at sites along forest service roads. Most of them (as far as I know) don’t require reservations, which is nice.
