I don’t love this idea that the perfect future is everyone has their own urban garden and we all grow food… that’s going back, that’s regression. The fact that the vast majority of people don’t have to grow food for us to survive as species is MAIN benefit of this whole thing we call civilization. If the future is going back to “everyone does everything” we’re fucked.

I totally agree, but the gardens depicted strike me more as ornamental.
