Days after Carney said he was considering those 2 kinds, there was a commercial for German subs in the Canadian navy, & Carney had said “no more debate, it’s done” or something like that.
I wish we’d got the Korean ones, because then we’d have functional-submarines much quicker, but … establishment sometimes deems immediate-survival to not be as important as establishment…
Same with the high-cost self-propelled-howitzers: I wish we’d built zillions of shoot-&-scoot better M777’s, instead of getting a few howitzers, when Trump’s annexing Canada is going to need pervasive firepower…
