My boss’s sister works at one of the state parks, this is a petition to try and get them to move on from that one at least.

Article says 8 state parks, so while outrage is due, the headline is a bit misleading. I wonder how many state parks they have and whether that’s a large percentage.

The crime here we really should be outraged about is the description of one as “the only undeveloped land along the coast”. Yeah, it’s all a money grab trying to fleece the tourist. But you’re not just taking park land but the only undeveloped land on whichever coast.

It really does seem like Florida has seen a significant influx of “southerners” since COVID. Hard to believe it was a purple state not long ago (Gillum within 0.5% of Ron). I feel for the tens of millions of reasonably intelligent, non-poisoned voting people there (similar to Texas).
