    I had a mascara wand scratch my eye and it did not heal for six months. I needed an optometrist to scrape the damaged tissue from my cornea so my eye could heal properly. He didn’t warn me how painful it would be and I spent the next two days in bed.

        It was completely accidental, but it was my partner’s fault. He couldn’t understand why I didn’t want him in the bathroom (he is a clumsy giant) and felt really bad about it
