The entire concept of deportation is to send people to their country of origin (well, the place where they’re a citizen).
Where, exactly, do you deport a US citizen? The town where they were born or became naturalized? It makes no sense.
I’ve seen this happen with others, in other states, allegedly people who left to fight with Da’esh forces. They became stateless, and I don’t know what happened to them.
