    So your first argument is that police can only enforce laws if they have more force, not because the state/government delegated them to do it? Surreal

      It’s not “if they have more force” but in a practical sense, its actually risky, and cops are incredibly wimpy

        BIL is a deputy and refuses to work on patrol, only works the courts because the streets are too scary… asked him if maybe he should pick a different job if he’s that afraid. “The pension and benefits are too good”

        First cops can’t enforce the symbolic order because they don’t have overwhelming power. Then the judges are afraid to make a resolution that no one would enforce either way.
