    If they end up changing the laws such that people over 65 can’t be elected, he will be too old.

            Yes true, but he is not the president candidate, so he has to wait until Kamela hopefully finishes her presidency. And then he will be 68.

            And that is too old in my opinion.

                  You countered their hypothetical with another hypothetical that assumes that theirs doesn’t come to pass.

                  Logically speaking, it’s the equivalent of someone asking if they can have steak in stead of pasta and you saying they can’t because they’ll be too full for steak after the pasta.

                  Your comment higher up was taking it to future tense.
