“Right now is one of the most difficult moments in our history. The pressure on Ukraine is at its peak. The country may face a very tough choice: either a loss of dignity or the risk of losing a key partner,” the president said.

The peace plan is insane. Not only surrender your territory, they expect to REDUCE the Ukrainian military and give up long range weapons? That plan is basically handing over the rest of Ukraine at a later date.

The “peace” plan trump has is roll over and give up your land, military, weapons.

What a load of bullshit, and Zelenskyy shouldn’t even entertain the idea. Ukraine shouldn’t be forced to give up their land, reduce their military, or give up long range weapons. It weakens them for when that bag of shit Putin attacks again.

I think its just an act to get people to voice their opposition to this “peace” plan loud and clear before he refuses it. That way he cant be accused of not working in the interest of his people.

Minor correction, I think this is what you meant but I it bears clarifying:

Zelenskyy shouldn’t even have to entertain the idea.

That such a proposal is even considered is a failure of the international community. The only thing Russia will learn is that their old tricks still work and that violence is still a valid method to achieve goals, if it just persists long enough.

But ukrainians only need to think of Ukraine and what’s the least bad option for them. It’s not like accepting a bitter and probably temporary peace is an alien concept to any country bordering Russia.

It wasn’t a failure of the Internation community. This was a Trump surprise with no input from anyone but Putin.

          It is now.

The media across countries is referring to the proposal as if it was a serious peace plan. Because of that, it is now widely seen as a serious peace plan across the international community.

I wonder how much of this is an act by Ukraine. Appearing to look like being open for peace talks is always better than outright rejecting it. Even when the proposal is a joke. Zelenskyy said it himself in the article.

Let’s not forget the last few months. That orange fuck changes his mind all the time. I wonder what the next weeks will bring.

The unfortunate reality is that there is no real advantage for Ukraine in calling Trump out on his bullshit and condemning the idiotic plan, no matter how much they deserve it.

Trump is a narcissistic moron with dementia. He doesn’t give a shit about the details and he has no principles, he just wants whatever makes him feel like a tough guy that people fear and respect. Fighting him will just lead to a temper tantrum. Better to give him empty words and hollow victories while avoiding any meaningful capitulation.

This feels like just more Epstein distraction. Look over here! Look at the brave man you admire. I’m gonna hurt him. Ooh let’s talk about that lots.

IMO I have a few suspicions:

    1. Trump and Epstein rape distraction.
    2. The rat-faced orange cunt lost patience and wants a quick win for his brand. And if it doesn’t work out the way he wants, he’s going to blame the Ukrainians for it.
    3. Trump and Putin have mutual interest in destroying Ukraine and harming the EU. Russia’s benefit is military supremacy and Trump’s benefit is economic colonisation.
