Afaik, the big Chinese dam was also slowing down the rotation of earth, due to the displaced amount of water. So the Chinese then decided they needed an even bigger one…
Do you have any reason to believe there are adverse effects from Earth’s slowing rotation due to Three Gorges Dam?
I’m just not comfortable with humans messing around with the planet by that much… It’s not working great with everything else, is it?
