Majority of the world is chilling. You’ve been lied to. As an American that left the country, I can confirm stress is not a epidemic

2 days old account with some nazi posting history is claiming everything is fine. I wonder why that might be…

It’s always projection with these maga folks isn’t it.

Can you explain projection in this context? I feel like I could benefit from the concept, once I understand it better.

i think they mean that the maga crowd/fascists/nazis is/are generally doing fuckall and are just watching the world burn due to their heads being almost entirely filled with hot air.

“don’t worry! we’ll just ‘get rid’ of all the bad people and everything will be fine!” can be kind of a soothing sentiment, i guess…if you never spend a single moment thinking about the implications.

they assume, since they are doing fuckall to improve the situation, and are thus “just chilling”, that means that everything is actually alright and we’re not in crisis, like, all the time.

and they assume, because they lack all empathy, that everyone else must feel the same way! --> that’s the projection.

so, if you have even a single shred of empathy, I’m afraid that, no, projection isn’t gonna help you at all…

Oh I accidentally implicated I could benefit from projecting. I actually meant, I could benefit from understanding projection better, because I wondered how I might be projecting myself.

Thanks for your explanation. I comprehend it better now.

ah, that makes much more sense!

              you are very welcome!

i hoped it would, but trying to explain turned out to actually be quite tricky, so i wasn’t sure whether i did a decent job of explaining…makes me glad to hear it was comprehensible! ;)

Well, I doubt the majority of the world is chilling—unless you mean about US politics, and the. Probably yes.

I’m out the USA. Listen again American. Everyone is not having the same problems the US is having. I know it’s hard for you to comprehend.

Right. Not the same problems. But, other problems. Tehran is out of water, Russia is drone bombing, authoritarianism is seeping into governments, etc.

If you think the world is doing just fine, you’re dumber than a US republican voting for Trump a 3rd time. 🤣

I don’t know why the OP is down voted much, but they are right.

First of all. The issues you listed. Those are likely not affecting you (I don’t know where you live), and you have a very miniscule (if any) affect them, so there’s no benefit for you to stress over it. Sure you can do what you can, for example Russia bombing with drones you can for example donate to Ukraine, but your stress won’t help them.

Second, what I think OP meant are things that affect us directly, like daily life, especially work. In EU for example there are much stricter laws regarding work, the healthcare is not tied to work, the minimum pay is more reasonable, and employers can be punished if they abuse employees so they are less likely to do it.

All that makes life less stressful.

Do you mean OP the post or OP the MAGA commenter who has half their comments removed and posts pro-maga memes?
