I think days are numbered for Pokrovsk 😭

    1st of April:

    9th of August:

If you want to help these are two recent posts from tallalittlebit Director of https://protectavolunteer.com/

    from: https://www.reddit.com/user/tallalittlebit/

    For donating towards non-military aid:

Soldiers are continuing to distribute hygiene packets to their injured comrades in the hospital. Everyone got a towel, toiletries, socks, underwear, shoes, and some people who needed clothing replaced got that too. Around 200 people got help so far.

Russia still attacks Ukraine and unfortunately mosquitoes are also attacking. The top request we have right now for everyone in training or deployed is please help with the mosquitoes. It’s about $3 to get a soldier some mosquito spray. We will also be sending out some wet wipes, noodles, beef jerky, tuna cans, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.

If you want to help, donate here:

Your donation goes to UFL which is a 501c3. PAV handles all purchases in Ukraine to fuel the local economy. NOTHING is military aid or even close to it. It’s all food, hygiene, medicine or medical care, comfort items for the hospital, home appliances, or cleaning supplies. All these things are actually super important. You can’t do your work if you’re hungry or cold or don’t have basic supplies.

    Defence equipment:

Not gonna post the image you can see for yourself >.>

Sometimes the better the soldier the more they…struggle with other tasks and this would be one of those cases. This is from an English speaking assault team in Pokrovsk. They’re all experienced career soldiers. We just got one of them a set of dual PVS 31s. He’s an American sniper.

I asked for a photo. We did in fact get a photo so…this is it. Next time I will remember to say please make sure your photo shows that you are wearing clothes.

A British soldier on this team is next in line to get an NVG. We have luckily found a used but great condition NVG for him and it’s $5,000. We have $3,100 raised. To help him you can go to protectavolunteer.com and choose Vision Fund on the Paypal menu.

I promise he is much more responsible and will manage to take a photo of the actual NVG and not just the case. And wear pants.

Looking at it on a map it seems like six different highways from all directions meet in the city. As someone without real experience that looks for me like one of the bigger losses should the city fall.
