The envy of Europe? Weren’t they going bankrupt like a couple years ago? What about Germany and France, or the Nordic bloc?

That was a few years ago. Since at least Covid they’ve been one of Europe’s fastest-growing economies.
Yeah… That was a very surprising description of Spain’s economy.
It’s just typical capitalism. In order to achieve anything that looks like amazing growth/innovation/pricing, you MUST f*** someone in the butt (typically those at the very bottom of the hierarchy).

FWIW, the puritanical origins of such demonizing non-reproductive sex acts should be beneath us as a species, at this late-stage, IMHO.
For instance, “sodomy”, according to many laws across the globe, and regardless of dominant relation in the area, is defined as anything other than missionary position — incl. oral, manual, etc.
(Because the Church/Temple/etc. needs fresh blood and butts in seats, not independent happiness, self-discovery & trust-based fulfillment. Religious institutions muuuch prefer to have their hand on the only tap, so they outlaw and psyops all others they don’t own…)
