Rather than delude myself into thinking things will improve if I do x, I just point out how you people are wrong for choosing y. It’s a song and dance that will go on for the rest of my life because I’m surrounded by average people who are also useful idiots.

Like I said, I don’t expect you to learn from your mistakes for the rest of your life.
You will always be like this and I just have to accept that. There’s no point in getting you to change.
So what exactly are you doing to help?
I believe these problems can’t be fixed because there are too many people like you that will never learn from their mistakes.
