Been looking for a good Navigation App for my Android Phone which has to be Android Auto Compatible, was wondering what the EU has to offer in that Regard?
I use Magic Earth with Android Auto
OsmAnd is nice. Based on OpenStreetMap and you can download the maps to use it offline.
It’s pretty good. I also used Organic maps once and it was actually not bad. I think you need to try all services to know what is the best for you.
In my opinion it is more suited for hiking and less for driving in a car. My previous tests showed, that the lookup of places is too clumsy and the navigation/routing somewhat limited.
Here we go has a capable App.
@[email protected] For years I used Google Maps, but after I abolished all Google related stuff, I ended up using Magic Earth https://www.magicearth.com

Here Wego, or Sygic (paid) came to my mind. But i haven’t used Sygic in android auto, just a lot years ago direct from phone in a car.
I switched to Here WeGo from Google Maps a month ago. It works fine.
It lacks some things which go beyond navigation, like opening times of stores.
There are opening times of store just not for as much as on gmap. But it’s there.
Sygic. Not the best it could be, but the navigation is mostly better than the others. Especially lane-assist for dummies like me. Radar-warner isn’t shabby either. Never used the other features.
I’m still hoping for a really good one though.
