To update you, I am finally starting to see some mycelial growth in my rye bag, so in my case it’s probably just slow to pull out of dormancy (plus I don’t have an incubator for my grain spawn so I don’t keep them as warm as would be optimal). Hope your next attempts go well!
Thanks! All mine failed. I think ill just buy spawn and inoculate my garden next time. Ive had the same experience w oysters and lions mane.

Congratats! I had some growth in one but it also had contams.
Ugh, contam, so frustrating! Do you make your own grain, or buy? I get bags from Fungaia and haven’t had any issues with their bags going funky
