Mozilla did an investigation into privacy violations of modern cars, turns out there are no cars that respect our privacy, and some go as far as specifying in their privacy policy that the driver agrees to data collection regarding their sex life

Whose house you visit, when you go to a strip club, brothel, toy store. Some cars have internal cameras and many have microphone.

Reddit shut down all third party apps, so there are a bunch of new reddugees hanging around Lemmy, myself included.

    Welcome back!

That is like the footnote of what reddit did. I don’t want them to live rent free or anything but that’s like saying JFK died from the inertia of metallic elements.

She’s been around for more than a year, but Jenny Nicholson has recently become a hot topic of discussion. Her 4 hour deconstruction of the Star Wars Hotel is being compared to mainstream films, because why would you pay $60 to go see Furiosa in a theater when you could instead watch a nerd talk about Disney fandom for free on your phone.

If you haven’t watched her videos before, you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to spend several hours with her.

How did you disconnect from the world for a year? Did you go to some very remote location?

Google just released their rushed AI integration and its a hillarious and dangerous train wreck. They trained it off data from Reddit among other places and the internet clearly did not send their best amd brightest.

Sony has made the public very aware that they are not a video game publisher to be trusted over the Helldivers 2 issue a few months ago, thats an entire rabbit hole to dig into.

Lots of high profile court cases, most importantly tacos are now legally a sandwich.

The big reddit to lemmy exodus?

You didn’t use the internet (and thus lemmy) for 1.5 years and you didn’t notice lemmy basically blew up?
